NTPC Limited has paid a final dividend of ₹3,393.83 crore for the financial year 2025-26 on September 23, 2026, representing 35% of the company’s paid-up equity share capital.
The final dividend follows two interim dividend payments of ₹2,666.58 crore each, which were paid in November 2025 and February 2026, respectively.
With the latest payment, NTPC’s total dividend payout for FY 2025-26 stands at ₹8,727 crore, equivalent to ₹9 per equity share with a face value of ₹10 each.
The company has paid dividends for 33 consecutive years, according to NTPC.
NTPC is India’s largest integrated power utility, with an installed capacity of more than 91 GW and over 35 GW of capacity under construction. The company has set a target of reaching 149 GW of total installed capacity by 2032, including 60 GW from renewable energy sources.
Its portfolio comprises thermal, hydro, solar and wind power generation assets, alongside investments in emerging energy businesses.
Beyond conventional power generation, NTPC has expanded into areas including electric mobility, energy storage, waste-to-energy, nuclear power and green hydrogen as part of its broader diversification and energy-transition strategy.
