The 3rd Edition Solar & Storage Summit Ghana 2026 will take place on 19 November 2026 in Accra, bringing together stakeholders across the solar and energy storage value chain to explore opportunities for project development, investment and clean energy adoption.
Combining conference sessions, an exhibition, awards and networking, the summit is expected to welcome 100+ key decision-makers and 25+ industry speakers. Participants will include policymakers, utilities, developers, investors, commercial and industrial energy users, EPC companies, manufacturers, financiers, and technology and service providers.
The programme will examine how solar generation and energy storage can support Ghana’s energy security, strengthen business resilience and enable wider access to reliable electricity. Discussions will connect technical priorities with the financing, policy and commercial conditions needed to move projects towards implementation.
Three Leadership Panels Address Key Industry Priorities
The conference will feature three panel discussions focused on the practical challenges and opportunities shaping Ghana’s solar and storage sector.
Scaling Utility-Scale Solar & Storage: Strengthening Ghana’s Energy Security will examine project pipelines, grid capacity, storage integration and the requirements for delivering reliable renewable generation. The discussion will explore how developers, utilities and technology providers can support effective project execution and system integration.
Accelerating Distributed Energy & Rooftop Solar: Powering Homes, Businesses & Industries will focus on commercial and industrial demand, rooftop PV, mini-grids and distributed storage. Panellists will discuss adoption barriers, implementation considerations and opportunities to improve energy resilience for businesses and communities.
Mobilizing Investment & Green Finance for Ghana’s Solar & Storage Transition: Strengthening Bankability & Project Development will explore financing structures, investment readiness, procurement and regulatory frameworks. The session will address how stakeholders can strengthen project bankability and support greater private-sector participation.
Complementing these discussions, keynote addresses, knowledge presentations and techno-commercial sessions will explore solar and storage technologies, asset performance, digitalisation, industrial decarbonisation and long-term project value.
Recognising Achievement Across Ghana’s Clean Energy Ecosystem
The summit will also host the Solar & Storage Summit 2026 Ghana Awards, recognising companies, projects, technologies, teams and individuals contributing to the advancement of the industry.
Award categories span Technology Excellence, Project Excellence, Business Excellence, Team Excellence, Sustainability & ESG, Finance & Investment, and Leadership Excellence. Recognition will cover achievements ranging from innovative technologies and project delivery to asset management, green finance, community impact and industry leadership.
Organisations and professionals are invited to nominate achievements that demonstrate innovation, performance and meaningful contributions to Ghana’s clean energy development.
