Sugs Lloyd Limited has secured a solar power project order worth ₹8.90 crore from the Office of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar. The order covers the development of a 2 MW (AC) ground-mounted solar power project at Gurdwara Gurusar Patshahi Chhevi in Satlani Sahib, Hoshiarnagar, Sri Amritsar.
The total contract value includes GST and comprehensive operation and maintenance services for a period of 10 years. Under the agreement, Sugs Lloyd Limited will be responsible for the complete execution of the project, including design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the solar power system.
The company will also undertake the operation and maintenance of the facility for 10 years after commissioning. This long-term maintenance scope is intended to support the continued operation and performance of the solar installation.
According to the Letter of Award issued on September 28, 2026, the main solar project is scheduled to be completed by December 31, 2026. The associated miscellaneous works are required to be completed within five months from the date of the award.
Commenting on the order, Santosh Shah, Managing Director of Sugs Lloyd Limited, said the company was honored to receive the project from the institutional body. He noted that the 10-year maintenance commitment would enable the company to remain involved in the project over the long term and focus on sustained energy performance.
The company said successful execution of the project would further strengthen its experience in institutional solar projects and support its efforts to pursue similar opportunities in the future.
