ACME Solar Commissions 107.36 MW/437.49 MWh BESS Capacity in Rajasthan

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has achieved further progress in its battery energy storage portfolio in Rajasthan, commissioning major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) components through its subsidiaries. The company disclosed the developments through regulatory filings submitted to the BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India under Regulation 30 of SEBI regulations.

Both BESS phases were commissioned on September 30, 2026, with commercial operation scheduled to commence on October 2, 2026.

The first development involves Phase-I of a BESS project operated by wholly owned subsidiary ACME Sigma Urja Private Limited. The facility is located at Neemri village in Rawatbhata tehsil of Chittorgarh district, Rajasthan. The commissioned phase has a discharge capacity of 53.73 MW and storage capacity of 222.969 MWh.

The facility is part of a larger Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy project with a planned total discharge capacity of 250 MW and storage capacity of 1,069 MWh. While the BESS component has been commissioned, the associated renewable energy generation facilities are still under development.

Separately, ACME Solar Holdings commissioned Phase-III of another BESS project through its subsidiary ACME Greentech Seventh Private Limited. The project is located at Kelan village in Chhatargarh tehsil of Bikaner district, Rajasthan.

The newly commissioned Phase-III provides 53.63 MW of discharge capacity and 214.52 MWh of storage capacity. The overall project is planned with a discharge capacity of 300 MW and storage capacity of 1,200 MWh.

Following the latest commissioning, ACME Greentech Seventh has achieved a cumulative commissioned capacity of 159.58 MW and 638.32 MWh for the project. The electricity generated through the project is covered under a Power Purchase Agreement with SJVN Limited.

The latest commissioning milestones expand ACME Solar’s operational BESS portfolio and mark continued progress in deploying large-scale energy storage infrastructure to support firm and dispatchable renewable power in India.
