The Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (APSERC) has scheduled a public hearing on November 2, 2026, to review a tariff petition filed by the Arunachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency (APEDA) for solar photovoltaic projects commissioned during the financial year 2018-19. The hearing will consider the proposed tariffs for a 1 MW solar power plant and a 1.75 MW rooftop solar project implemented across multiple locations in the state.

The petition, registered under number TP 06 of 2025, seeks regulatory approval for the tariffs applicable to these solar projects. The 1 MW solar photovoltaic plant is located at the Energy Park in Itanagar, while the 1.75 MW rooftop solar installation covers 15 different locations across Arunachal Pradesh.

The public hearing will begin at 11:00 AM at the APSERC Court Room in the O.T. Building, Niti Vihar Market, Itanagar. The Commission has invited consumers, project stakeholders and members of the public to participate in the proceedings and share their views on the tariff petition.

Individuals interested in attending the hearing must register their names at the Commission’s office on or before November 2, 2026. APSERC has also invited written comments, suggestions, and feedback from interested parties before the scheduled hearing date. Submissions can be delivered directly to the Commission or sent through email to secy-apserc-arn@gov.in.

The Commission has made provisions for interested parties to examine the petition documents before the hearing. Copies of the tariff petition are available for public inspection during regular working hours at the APEDA office. The complete petition documents can also be accessed through the official APSERC website.

The hearing will provide an opportunity for consumers and other stakeholders to present their views on the proposed tariffs for the solar projects. The regulatory review forms part of the Commission’s process of examining tariff petitions and considering submissions from concerned parties before making its decision.

The proceedings are expected to address the tariff approval sought by APEDA for the solar installations commissioned in 2018-19, covering both the ground-mounted plant and rooftop solar systems distributed across the state.
