Hoymiles Launches MiS 6-in-1 Microinverter at REI Expo 2026, Showcases Complete Solar and Energy Storage Solutions

Hoymiles, a global leader in module-level power electronics and energy storage, opened its REI Expo 2026 showcase with a new product launch and a comprehensive portfolio of solar and storage solutions. The company introduced its MiS 6-in-1 Microinverter to the Indian market and showcased solar and storage solutions for every scale of energy, from rooftops to the grid, at Hall 12, Booth B531, India Expo Mart.

At Asia’s premier clean energy event, which brought together over 60,000 professionals from more than 70 countries, Hoymiles attracted strong interest from visitors, industry experts and potential partners, while also welcoming senior leadership from Hoymiles China. Since 2012, Hoymiles has worked to turn untamed natural power into energy that is open to all. In India, one of the world’s fastest-growing solar markets, that mission is more relevant than ever.

One Portfolio, Every Scale of Energy

At its booth, Hoymiles presented five solution families, demonstrating how rugged and reliable technology can serve homes, businesses and the grid:

  • Residential solar and storage: Smart, safe and easy-to-install systems that give homeowners greater control over the energy they generate and use.
  • Plug-in storage: Compact, ready-to-use batteries that simplify storage for new and existing solar users, supported by AI-powered energy management.
  • C&I solar and storage: Efficient, liquid-cooled commercial and industrial systems designed to reduce energy costs and keep businesses running.
  • Utility solar and storage: Large-scale solar and storage solutions designed to support grid reliability and meet the demands of utility projects.
  • PCS storage solutions: High-efficiency power conversion systems engineered to perform even under weak-grid conditions.

New Launch: MiS 6-in-1 Microinverter, Built for Indian Rooftops

Hoymiles introduced the MiS 6-in-1 Microinverter (MIS-3680-W) to the Indian market. A single unit supports one to six PV modules, allowing installers to design systems around rooftop configurations rather than inverter limitations.

Key features of the new microinverter include:

  • Efficient generation: Two independent MPPTs support split and multi-orientation rooftops while limiting losses from partial shading. Each input accepts up to 2,200 W and 23 A, making the system compatible with 700 W+ modules. It also supports unbalanced layouts of 0–3 modules per input and offers an EU efficiency of 96.3%.
  • Stable and reliable performance: With IP67 protection, an operating temperature range of –40°C to +85°C and a wide AC voltage range of 160–295 V, the microinverter is designed for demanding conditions and variable grids. Over 1,000,000 hours of reliability testing, built-in AFCI arc-fault protection and a galvanically isolated topology further enhance safety. Low-voltage DC operation eliminates the need for long high-voltage strings on rooftops.
  • Simple and smart installation: The Flex-S3 plug-and-play cable system simplifies wiring. Bluetooth direct connectivity and Wi-Fi Mesh allow installers to commission one device and automatically synchronise the remaining devices through the S-Miles Installer App. The system also supports remote diagnostics, over-the-air upgrades and an AI assistant for technical support.
  • Local support: The microinverter comes with a 12-year standard warranty and is backed by an India-based technical support team.

Amid India’s rapidly growing solar and storage market, Hoymiles showcased its technological leadership and localised service capabilities tailored to market requirements. Leveraging its position as the world’s top shipper of microinverters (excluding the U.S.) and a BloombergNEF Tier 1 global energy storage manufacturer, Hoymiles aims to support India’s clean energy transition with reliable, accessible and cost-effective solutions. Its latest innovations integrate solar generation, energy management and storage to maximise performance, efficiency and sustainability.

To expand its presence in India, Hoymiles has partnered with leading distributors across different regions. Through these partnerships, the company is building a robust nationwide sales and service network to deliver timely, reliable and customer-focused support.

One Team, One Vision: China Leadership Joins India Team

The product launch was attended by Hoymiles Founder and CEO Dr. Yang Bo and Vice President Mr. Guy Rong, who joined the REI Expo 2026 exhibition alongside colleagues from China and India. Their participation highlighted the importance Hoymiles places on India as a long-term market and its commitment to working closely with local customers, installers and distributors.

Hoymiles already has a presence across India’s rooftop solar market, with hundreds of megawatts of its systems powering homes, businesses and projects nationwide. The company’s team also travelled to 63 cities to meet customers and partners in person and better understand their requirements.

Hoymiles remains committed to being a long-term partner in India’s renewable energy journey, working closely with distributors and industry stakeholders towards a cleaner, smarter and more sustainable energy future for all.
