The release of the shipments is an important development for TOYO as it continues to strengthen its international solar manufacturing and supply chain operations. The company has also taken steps to enhance its U.S. import compliance programme to support its manufacturing activities in the United States.

TOYO operates a manufacturing facility in Humble, Texas, and is pursuing certification under CBP’s Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) programme. The initiative is intended to further strengthen the company’s import compliance framework and supply chain management practices.

Takahiko Onozuka, Chief Executive Officer of TOYO, expressed appreciation to CBP for its detailed review and professional approach. He stated that the company, as a Japanese business expanding its presence in the United States, remains committed to maintaining high standards of transparency and regulatory compliance.
