Scorpius Trackers, a Tracker Technology company based out of India, made aggressive plans for international business development in 2018, after successfully installing a few small plants in Japan, Africa and Middle East from 2016 to 2018. Since beginning of 2019, Scorpius has been qualified by many leading international IPPs and ECPs and has done detailed engineering and bid for more than 15,000 MW globally.
Most recently, Scorpius has been selected to provide it’s patented ‘Multi Point Torsion Lock’ decentralised ROW trackers for a 30MW plant in Saudi Arabia for Engie Solar. Active discussions for other projects in Middle East, South America, Mexico, USA are in process and Scorpius sees exponential business growth in the international market starting 2020, specially with its Bankable Bifacial module ready tracker technology.
