EESL enters into an MoU with NREDCAP for 50 MW Solar Power Plants

In a move to accelerate its clean energy initiatives and enable more environmental benefits, Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) has entered into a MoU with New & Renewable Energy Development Corp. of AP (NREDCAP) for implementation of 50 MW solar power projects.

The company further announced to have successfully commissioned 2860 kW solar power plant in Pathra, Maharashtra to enable uninterrupted daytime power supply for farmers and reduce T&D losses for DISCOMs. 

In another step to boost adoption of eMobility, EESL has signed a MoU with Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (PGVCL) for the deployment of 3 EVs and setting up of 2 DC chargers in their office premises. Also it has entered into a dry lease agreement with the Uttar Gujarat Vij Company Ltd for deployment of 5 EVs along with installation 2 AC & 1 DC charger at their Gandhi Nagar and Sabarmati offices.

In 2018, EESL had entered into an agreement with NREDCAP for supplying 10,000 electric vehicles and supply/install 4,000 chargers in state government offices.
