Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) invites Expression of Interest (EoI) from the interested RE Generators, including Wind, Solar & Hybrid (Wind & Solar), from RE plants that are already commissioned with expiring or no PPA commitments, or are about to be commissioned in 3 to 6 months time.
The inputs received from this EoI will be used by SECI to prepare the tender for procurement of power from RE Generators to supply RE power to its customers for meeting renewable purchase obligation (RPO) targets on immediate basis.
This power generated will be injected at their nearest CTU substation. The objective of RE power is to meet the RPOs of various Commercial and Industrial(C&I) consumers on an immediate basis. The C&I consumers can meet their RPO requirement through purchase of RE through short term/long term/medium term open access.
The PPA will be signed by SECI with the RE Generators at the tariff arrived through a competitive bidding process for a period decided upon with the beneficiary, which may range from 3 months to 10 years.
