RITES Tenders For 1 GW Land-Based Solar PV Projects On Railways Land Across India
RITES Limited, an engineering consultancy company under Indian railways has issued a tender for setting up of 1 GW of land-based solar photovoltaic (PV) power plants on land owned by the Indian Railways under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding. The last date for bid submission is 29 June 2020 at 02:00 PM and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on 30 June 2020. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for 28 May 2020 at 11:00 AM. Bid Submission will start on 22 June 2020 at 09:00 AM and it will End on 29 June 2020 at 02:00 PM. To participate along with the bids, All bidders will have to submit an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs 10,00,000 and also should submit a Tender Fee of Rs.29,000.The Bid will be valid for 180 days and to complete the project developers will have a Period Of 390 days. The location of this project is at various Zonal Railways across India.
Karnataka Floats EOI For EPC of Grid-Interactive Hybrid Solar Rooftop Projects
Government of Karnataka(GOK) has floated an Invitation for Short Term Expression of Interest (EOI) for Empanelment of Agencies/ EPC contractors for Installation of Grid-Interactive Hybrid Solar Rooftop Plant at different offices of RD&PR, ZP, TP and GP s across Karnataka. The Project will be executed on a turnkey basis and the bidding process is carried out as per the Two-Stage Tender System. Last Date and time for submission of EOI Tender is 11-05-2020 at 5.00 PM. The date and time for the opening of EOI Tender is 12-05-2020 at 5.00 PM. Bids shall remain valid for 24 months from the date of the signing of the contract. Along with the bid, bidders should submit a Tender Processing Fee of Rs 25,000 plus GST of 18%.

BHEL has floated an Invitation for Expression of Interest For Global OEMs for Manufacturing Partnerships under Make in India. It is seeking manufacturing and technology partnerships with global OEMs looking to establish or expand their supply chains/manufacturing base in India for the manufacture of various goods and/or service business in India including for heavy electrical equipment, process plant equipment, other capital goods equipment, Solar value chain, LCDs, Li-Ion cells, transportation equipment, defense & aerospace, etc. Some possible areas of partnership could be Heavy electrical equipment, Process plant equipment, Transportation equipment, Silicon to Module Solar Value Chain, Setting up of up to 5MWhr capacity Li-Ion cell manufacturing facility for all types of electric vehicles and energy storage, BHEL would be open to proposals to utilize the available land for a range of purposes like putting up manufacturing facilities, setting up hospitals, smart cities, etc. Any other area of manufacturing to leverage its existing assets and resources.

Pre Bid Meeting for this project is scheduled for 05/05/2020 at 14.00 hours. The last date & time of submission of tender is 14/05/2020 at 15.00 hours and the Date & time of opening of tender is 15/05/2020 at 15.00 hours. Along with the bids, bidders are required to submit Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs. 2,86,470 .Bidders should also submit a security deposit of 3% of contract value by Demand Draft (DD) and a tender fee of Rs. 29,500/- including 18% GST.
UPCL Tenders for 900 Solar Meters
The Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) floated a tender for 900 single-phase whole current solar meters. Along with the bid, bidders are expected to submit an earnest money deposit (EMD) of Rs. 59,400. The estimated cost of the tender is Rs. 1.98 million. The last date for bid submission is 27 May 2020. Eligibility to participate in the competitive bidding process is that bidders should have an average yearly turnover of Rs. 5.94 million in the last three financial years and should also have performance certificates of the tendered quantity of meters.
BHEL Invites RFQ Of 74,500 Multicrystalline Solar Modules For Floating Solar Project In Telangana
Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has invited a request for quotation (RFQ) to manufacture and supply 74,500 units of multi-crystalline solar photovoltaic (PV) modules for NTPC’s 100 MW floating solar project at Ramagundam in Telangana. These solar PV modules should be delivered by August 31, 2020. Each module should have a power output of at least 330 W. The last date for the submission of bids is May 6, 2020. According to BHEL, only original PV module manufacturers with a module manufacturing capacity of 300 MW per annum can quote for this tender. Solar projects using these modules should have completed at least six months of successful operation as of June 9, 2019.
