The Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd has issued a notice stating extension of the bid submission deadline for its 700 MW of solar projects in Dholera Solar Park (Phase IX).
The existing deadline for bid submission was 30-04-2020 and now the revised date has been extended to 30-05-2020 at 5 pm.Earlier the submission of technical bids was 01.05.2020 which has been revised to 01.06.2020.The financial bid opening date, followed by an e-reverse auction has now been extended from 08.05.2020 to 08.06.2020.
GUVNL released this tender in January.To participate along with the bids bidders should submit earnest money deposits of Rs. 400,000/MW and at the time of signing the power purchase agreement. Bidders will also have to pay a performance bank guarantee of Rs. 944,000.
To be eligible to participate in this tender the bidders must have a net worth of Rs. 8000000 as of the end of the last financial year.The ceiling tariff for the tender has been set at ₹2.92 /kWh. In March, GUVNL retendered this project.
Recently, GUJARAT URJA VIKAS NIGAM LTD. (GUVNL) has invited bids for the procurement of power on a short-term basis through a tariff-based competitive bidding process.Eligibility for participation is that power from each source shall not be less than 50 MW and the quantum of power offered by the bidder shall be firm power.If the bidder is a trader, it should submit a copy of a valid category trading license or equivalent trading licensee issued by an appropriate commission.
The results for this tender was announced and the successful bidders were Juniper Green, Vena Energy, and Tata Power.the lowest quoted tariff was Rs. 2.61/kWh.
Dholera solar park is a 5GW solar power project being developed in two phases in Dholera village, approximately 80km from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
The solar park is a part of the government’s plan for establishing India’s first world-class greenfield Dholera smart city project announced in 2009. It also supports the government’s aim to produce 175GW of clean energy by 2022.
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy approved the project in May 2018, while conditional approval for the first phase of development was received in February 2019.
