National Institute of Wind Energy (NIWE), An Autonomous R&D Institution under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India issued NIT for 1 MW (AC) Mono Crystalline Solar PV Power Plant at Madurai Kamaraj University Tamil Nadu.
The last date of Site Visit at MKU, Madurai is till 08.06.2020 excluding Saturday and Sunday. Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for 10.06.2020 at 11:00 AM through Video Conference/Telecall.Tender Opening Date and Time is 30.06.2020 at 03:30 PM.
The document highlighted that Bidders are requested to cooperate to inform in advance about their participation and submit their queries. Queries/Clarifications received after the due date mentioned will be clarified through email only. The requests received after the due date shall not be entertained.
Along with the bid the bidder needs to submit Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs. 13,00,000/- (Excluding Bank Charges) in the form of a Bank Guarantee from any of the Scheduled banks. The Bid Security shall remain valid for a period of forty-five days.
The scope of work for this tender is Design, Engineering, Supply, Construction, Erection, Testing, Commissioning, Grid synchronization, With 5 years of comprehensive AMC, Warranty, insurance and O and M, for 1 MW (AC) Mono Crystalline Solar PV Power Plant.
Successful bidders are also required to provide Power Evacuation System to the nearest available TANGEDCO Substation including laying of UG & OHC cables and Merger of three existing HT feeder service connections into single HT service connection as per the existing TNEB norms and laying of underground HT Cables inside the campus (~2.00 km).
Bidders should also provide a warranty for respective equipment for a minimum of a period of 5 years. Insurance has to be arranged by the successful bidder for the 1MW (AC) SPV power plant against Fire, Burglary, Theft, and natural calamities, riots, strike or any such other scenario not explained here but form part of a comprehensive Insurance Package from the date of commencement of the work and for the entire project period of 5 years, under no liability to NIWE.
No manual submission of bids is allowed and manual bids shall not be accepted under any circumstances.

The last date & time for submitting the e-tender is 04.06.2020 up to 16:00 and the date & time for the opening of e-tenders is 05.06.2020 at 16:00. It has been highlighted that only online bid will be considered against this tender.
