UPERC Dispose of Matter Of RTSPV Solar Power Project

Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (UPERC) passed an order in the matter of petition for sanction of 0.65 mw RTSPV solar project at hal township Kanpur.


The Commission in its order dated 25.06.2020 had directed KESCo to file its reply.  KESCo then conducted the site survey and accepted their application of a 650 kW rooftop solar power project at HAL township. 


He further submitted that HAL has deposited the requisite fees against the challan raised by KESCo.

The following matter was resolved hence KESco requested to withdraw the Petition. 

The Commission allowed withdrawal of the Petition and disposed of the matter. 

Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC)  passed an order in the matter of SECI in regards to adoption of tariff for 480 MW Solar PV Projects (Tranche-V) connected to the Inter-State Transmission System and selected through a competitive bidding process as per the Standard Bidding Guidelines. 

SECI prayed to grant exemption from complying with the provisions of the Clause 3.1.1 (b) of the Guidelines and has submitted that this provision was introduced for the first time w.e.f. 3.8.2017 and there was no such provision under the previous Guidelines notified by the Central Government.

Commission stated that SECI did not inform about the initiation of bidding and commission from complying with the requirement specified in Clause 3.1.1 (b) of the Guidelines.It also directed to comply SECI with such requirements in future.
