SECI Announces 2nd Pre-Bid Meet For 14 MW Solar + BESS At Leh and Kargil

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) recently announced notice stating a second pre bid meeting  for setting up of 14 MW Solar Power Plants with 42 MWh BESS (7 MW / 21 MWh each at Leh and Kargil) under Prime Minister Development Package (PMDP).

Online Pre-Bid/clarification Meeting is being scheduled  on 10.08.2020 at 10:30 Hrs.

It is instructed that Maximum 02  persons from the respective Bidder company are allowed to attend the Meeting.

In January, SECI issued an RfS for setting up 14 MW solar power plants with 42 MWh Battery Energy Storage Systems in Leh and Kargil. The maximum Levelized tariff payable to the Project Developer is fixed at INR 2/ kWh for 25 years. The project will consist of two 7 MW / 21 MWh each at Leh and Kargil.

The buying entity of the power is Power Development Department Ladakh (PDD Ladakh). PDD will sign a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the selected bidder for the purchase of solar power for a period of 25 years as per the terms, conditions, and provisions of the RFS. The maximum levelized tariff payable to the Project Developer is fixed at INR 2/ kWh for 25 years. This shall be inclusive of all statutory taxes, duties, levies, cess applicable as on the last date of bid submission.

Recently, SECI issued 4th extension notice of bid submission deadline of 14 MW solar power plants with 42 MWH BESS at Leh and Kargil under Prime Minister Development Package (PMDP) has been extended.

Existing last date of bid submission and bid opening was 30.07.2020 till 1400 HRS and 30.07.2020 at 1600 HRS  respectively which has been extended to 30.09.2020 till 1400 HRS and 30.09.2020 at 1600 HRS.
