
RUMSL tendered a total of 1,500 MW of grid-connected solar projects to be developed across the three solar parks in the state. The first tender was floated for developing 450 MW of grid-connected solar PV projects at Shajapur Solar Park.
NTPC Renewables (NTPC) and Talettutayi (SolarArise) are the winners of the auction.
The project received a hugh response with 18 bidders quoting for the tender.
NTPC won a 220 MW of capacity @ 2.33/kWh and 105 MW @ 2.35/kWh. While Talettutayi (SolarArise) quoted 2.34 paisa/kWh and won a 125 MW of project capacity. It is the
single largest project for the SolarArise till now.
The RUMSL credibility have offered a confidence to developers to bid competitively. The winning bids of Shajapur project is almost 5% lower than the RUMSL Agar project.
This seems no hurdels (BCD, ALMM) can stop Indian developer’s commitment to supply affordable Solar power, feels industry experts.
Avaada Energy and O2 Power were the winners of Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited’s (RUMSL) auction of 550 MW of Agar solar projects.
