Gujarat headquartered and NSE listed solar PV manufacturer Solex Energy Limited is
all set to drive the national apprenticeship promotion scheme under the Ministry of Skill
Development and Entrepreneurship’s Skill India Mission, Government of India in line with
their expansion of its 1.2 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Surat.
With this extensive Ultra-modern facility spread across 10+ acres, the company has plans to incubate the technically trained and government certified manpower to implement its latest manufacturing technology and high-quality modules for delivering the enhanced performance and the best generation in the industry.
During this Skill India Mission, Solex envisages the training and engagement of more than 5000 candidates in the period of 12 months from the date of commencement of the new facility.
Chetan Shah, Chairman and the Managing Director of Solex Energy Limited said, “The efforts are focused more on the community development and skill development in the state of Gujarat. These are aligned with the sustainable development goals (SDGs) corresponding to good quality education, training & higher employability rate resulting in the economic growth of the communities within the state”.
Solex is coming up with various government link development plans in the near future in order to serve Aatma Nirbhar Bharat and the Make in India mission of PM Modi.
