Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the YSR Jagananna Mega Industrial Hub and YSR Electronic Manufacturing Cluster (EMC) in Kopparthy, YSR (Kadapa) on Thursday, boosting the state’s industrial economy.
The industrial cluster is preparing to open with all the necessary infrastructure, including ready-to-occupy, electricity, and roads, sheds and plots. Even various solar power firms, MSMEs (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises), electronics manufacturing enterprises, and industrial associations participated in the event.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister stated that the amenities will promote industrial expansion, encourage investment, and enhance the industrial infrastructure condition in Kadapa, adding to the state’s economic development.
According to Reddy, in totality, all of the operations that the state have undertaken on the date would result in an investment of Rs 1,052 crore and the creation of nearly 14,803 jobs.
Reposing focus on MSMEs, the CM stated, “I am delighted to welcome 18 MSMEs who are pioneering their operations, investing over Rs 84.3 crore and employing 1,192 people. MSMEs play a critical role in job development, and my administration is dedicated to providing all necessary assistance.”
