NTPC to Start Commercial Operation of 74.88 MW Capacity of Fatehgarh Solar Project

NTPC India’s largest power utility announced that it will start commercial operations of third part capacity of 74.88 MW out of 296 MW Fatehgarh Solar PV Project at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, from 5th of March 2022.

“Consequent upon successful commissioning, third part capacity of 74.88 MW out of 296 MW Fatehgarh Solar PV Project at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, is declared on Commercial Operation w.e.f. 00:00 Hrs. of 05.03.2022,” company stated.

With this, commercial capacity of NTPC and NTPC group will become 54452.18 MW and 67907.18 MW respectively, said the company.

Recently, NTPC has announced that it will enter into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) to commission solar PV power projects at Tirumala and Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh.
