The state-run NHPC awarded engineering procurement and construction contracts (EPCs) contracts worth Rs 6,604.42 crore to Adani Infra, Tata Power Solar Systems and SSEL-ASR JV for a 1,000 MW project and transmission line. According to a BSE filing, the completion time is 18 months.
It stated that NHPC Ltd had awarded EPC contracts to develop a grid-connected solar PV project (1,000 MW) and a transmission line for power evacuation from ISTS substation, as well as comprehensive operations and maintenance for five years under Tranche III of CPSU Scheme Chapter-11.
It was further stated that Letters of Award (LoA) were issued for a cumulative contract price of Rs 6,604.42 Crore.
Adani Infra (India) Limited was awarded a 600 MW order in Gujarat with a total contract price Rs 4,295.64 crore.
Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd was awarded a contract for 300 MW of capacity at a total cost of Rs 1,731.57 Crore in Rajasthan.
It said that SSEL-ASR JV received an order for 100 MW capacity at a total cost of Rs 577.21 Crore in the state Of Andhra Pradesh.
