MGVCL Issue Tender for Supply of 42.8 MW of Solar Projects Under KUSUM Program in Gujarat
Madhya Gujarat Vij Company (MGVCL), has invited bids for the installation and commissioning of 42.8 MW of grid-connected feeder-level solar power projects. The associated power line is under Component C, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyanโs (PM-KUSUM). These projects will be developed using the RESCO model for renewable energy services company. September 1, 2022 is the final date to submit the online bids and it will be opened on the following day.
Bhopal Municipal Corporation Tenders for 21 MW Solar Projects
Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC), has opened the call for bids on an annuity basis for the design and engineering, supply construction and erection of 21 MW (2*10.5 MW), of solar power projects located in Madhya Pradeshโs Neemuch District. September 8th, 2022 is the deadline for bid submissions and bids will be opened on 9th. Two solar power plants will be set up by the BMC to produce power for captive use at different pumping stations in the Bhopal administrative region.
KREDL Issues Tender For 5 MW Solar Plus Battery Storage System at Karnataka
Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited (KREDL) Issues tender for supply and O&M of 5 MW (AC) Solar PV Power Plant with 5 MW/16 MWh Battery Energy Storage System at Pavagada Ultra Mega Solar Park. The last date to submit the online bids is 14th September 2022 and the bids will be opened on the next day. KREDL is the Nodal Agency for facilitating and implementing the Renewable Energy projects in Karnataka. Short Term RFP is published and Bids are invited for selection of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contractor for design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, commissioning and O&M of 5 MW (AC) Solar PV Power Plant (7 MWp DC) with 5 MW / 16 MWh Battery Energy Storage System having 10 years Plant O&M at Pavagada Ultra Mega Solar Park of Tumakuru District in Karnataka.
CERC Has Approved GST Compensation To Solar Edge Energy
Recently, the central electricity regulatory agency (CERC) ordered SECI or Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) to compensate Solar Edge and Energy Ltd for the additional cost incurred due the imposition of Goods & Services Tax (GST), on an annuity basis. From a total of 450MW of tender capacity, SECI granted 130MW of solar capacity to Solar Edge and Energy Ltd on June 2016. Through a request for selection (RFS) under the National Solar Mission Phase-II, Tranche III in Maharashtra, the total capacity of 450MW was offered. Afterwards, Solar Edge and SECI signed three separate PPAs, with two projects each of 50MW and the remainder of 30MW, respectively. Scheduled commissioning date (SCOD) for the total 130MW was 23.12.2017. Subsequently, power sale agreement (PSA) between SECI and the off-taker i.e. MSEDCL, was signed.
NTPC Augments Its Solar Footprint and Achieves 69454 MW of Installed Capacity
NTPC Limited, Indiaโs largest integrated energy company achieved 69454 MW of group installed and commercial capacity with commissioning of 56 MW Kawas Solar PV Project at NTPC Kawas, Gujarat on 15.08.2022. NTPC is steadily lowering its carbon footprint by reducing greenhouse gas emissions through installation of renewable energy projects in its existing stations as well as putting up of green field RE projects. The Company has planned 262 MW floating solar on over 1300 acres of its own reservoir area by installing over 9,50,000 PV modules at its various stations out of which 242 Mega Watt has been commissioned.
