Sh. Nand Lal Sharma, CMD, SJVN Limited informed that the Profit After Tax of SJVN increased by 42% to Rs. 1058.86 cr from Rs 745.61 cr in first half of current fiscal year.
Sh. Sharma spoke after today’s Company Board Meeting in Shimla. He stated that Revenue from Operations increased by 22% in the first half of this fiscal year to Rs 1886.99 crore, compared to Rs 1547.44 lakh during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. The Total Revenue also rose 22% to Rs 1991.76 crore in FY 22-23, compared to Rs 1629.37 lakhs in the previous fiscal.
The Net worth of the Company increased to Rs 13,970.52 crore, from Rs 13,349.21 crore on 30.09.2021.
Apprising about recent developments, Sh. Nand Lal Sharma stated that SJVN added two additional Floating Solar projects to its kitty during the second quarter. These were 105 MW and 83 MW capacities in Maharashtra & Madhya Pradesh, respectively.
The quarter saw the company surpass all records for highest September month power generation, which was 1339 MU. This is an increase of all six power stations.
SJVN currently has a portfolio of approximately 42,000 MW and 70 projects at various stages of development in India. It is on track to reach the CAPEX target, Rs 8,000 in fiscal year 2022-23. These developments will assist in SJVN’s Shared vision of 5000 MW per year, 25,000 MW per year 2030, and 50,000 MW capacity for 2040.
