MSEDCL Invites RfS for Procurement of 550 MW of Solar Power from Projects to be Developed in Maharashtra

Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL) has invited RfS for procurement of 550 MW (AC) solar power from projects to be developed in Maharashtra through competitive bidding process (Followed By e – Reverse Auction).

The Ceiling Tariff decided by MSEDCL is Rs. 3.20 per unit.

Every interested bidder must also pay Rs. 15000 + 18% GST for the RFS document which is non-refundable. The EMD amount is Rs. 1 lakh per MW as per the tender specification.

The Bidders selected by MSEDCL, based on this RfS shall submit the Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) of Rs. 5 Lakh/MW, 30 days before signing of PPA, according to the Format 6.3 B, issued in favor of MSEDCL with a validity period 14 months from the effective date.

This MSEDCL 550 MW solar tender includes the scope of the work of setting up the solar plant of awarded capacity, including design & engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning including warranty obligation with comprehensive operation and maintenance.

Minimum individual project capacity to be developed shall be 1 MW and Maximum individual project capacity to be developed shall be 10 MW (2X5 MW). The Cumulative capacity to be installed is 550 MW

A minimum annual turnover of Rs. 25 lakhs/MW is required for the successful bidder. 25 lakhs/MW in the last financial year, FY 2021-22 or at least 7 business days prior to the deadline for bid submission.

The Net-Worth for the financial year ending 31.03.2022 must not be less Rs 0.55 Crores/MW, or as at the date at the least 7 days prior to the due date for bid submission.
