EIL Secures Assignment To Provide Owner’s Engineer Services for Polysilicon Project from Adani Group

Engineers India Limited (EIL), has been assigned to provide Owner’s Engineer Services for the 30,000 MTPA Polysilicon Project and 500 MTPA Monosilane Project by M/s Mundra Solar Technology Limited (a subsidiary of M/s Adani Enterprises Ltd).

Polysilicon, a niche product, is used to make Photovoltaic panels. This is a major boost for the Govt’s ‘Make in India’ and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bhharat’ initiatives. India has the potential to increase its own manufacturing of Polysilicon. These components are mainly being imported at the moment.

Ms. Vartika Shukla, CMD EIL, commented on the new assignment. “Aligned to the vision of Government of India regarding energy security and production-linked incentives (PLI), which sets Governments priority. Its a strategic assignment EIL, foraying into diversified sectors for growth continuing to offer sustainable solution.”
