Boviet Solar Technology Co. Ltd., a leading solar energy technology firm specializing in advanced monocrystalline PV cells and Gamma Seriesโ„ข Monofacial and Vega Seriesโ„ข Bifacial PV modules, has been recognised as a Tier 1 PV module manufacturer by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) for Q1 2026.

Boviet Solar first achieved Tier 1 status in 2017 and has maintained this distinction through every quarter of 2025, highlighting its consistent bankability, financial stability, and product reliability. The Tier 1 designation, awarded by BloombergNEF, is a benchmark of credibility for PV manufacturers whose products and financial strength meet stringent due-diligence requirements of global financial institutions.

The designation is a critical reference for investors, developers, EPCs, and asset owners, providing assurance on long-term stability and performance reliability, guiding capital allocation, supplier selection, and project implementation.

To qualify for Tier 1, PV module manufacturers must supply self-manufactured modules, participate in at least six separate solar projects backed by non-recourse financing from six different banks, ensure projects exceed 10 MW each, complete them within two years, and provide full public project data through the BNEF Project Finance Database.

โ€œMaintaining Tier 1 status reinforces the trust our customers and financiers place in us,โ€ said Sienna Cen, President of Boviet Solar USA. โ€œWith our new 3.0 GW North American PV module manufacturing facility in Greenville, North Carolina now operational, and a 3.0 GW PV cell factory scheduled for completion in H2 2026, we are strengthening our ability to serve the U.S. market with advanced, high-quality solar technology made closer to our customers.โ€

Boviet Solar has also been recognised among the Top 10 Global PV Module Manufacturers by Wood Mackenzie, ranked by Sinovoltaics as one of the Top 10 Most Financially Stable PV Module Manufacturers since 2024, listed in PV Module Techโ€™s Top 20 Global PV Module Manufacturers since 2022, and consistently named a Top Performer in Kiwa PVELโ€™s PV Module Reliability Scorecard since 2019. These accolades reflect the companyโ€™s financial strength, product reliability, and long-term dependability in the solar energy sector.
