Cleantech Solar Commissions 42 MWp Solar Project for Global Metal Components Manufacturer in Maharashtra

Cleantech Solar, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions to corporations in India and Southeast Asia, has commissioned 42 MWp of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects for a global metal components manufacturer – the latest commissioning at its 300 MWp of solar parks in Maharashtra. Power from these solar parks will be procured by the client on a captive basis, providing solar power for their manufacturing facilities in the state. 

The long-term solar partnership between Cleantech Solar and the off-taker is expected to generate over 1.5 TWh of clean energy during the lifetime of the project, which is equivalent to a reduction of approximately 1,383 kilotonnes of CO₂ emissions. The fully operational solar PV systems have been designed, financed and built by Cleantech Solar, and will be operated and maintained by Cleantech Solar throughout the term of the agreement.
