GreenYellow Acquires 49.5 MWp Solar Farm of French IPP Qair in Vietnam

GreenYellow Vietnam recently acquired, the Vietnamese subsidiary of Qair as well as its 70% stakes in Binh Dinh solar farm, a 49.5 MWp asset in operation in Binh Dinh province of Vietnam.

This acquisition follows its desire to expand its presence throughout Southeast Asia. GreenYellow thus becomes the operator of Binh Dinh solar park with a capacity of 49.5 MWp.

This acquisition follows its desire to expand its presence throughout Southeast Asia. GreenYellow thus becomes the operator of Binh Dinh solar park with a capacity of 49.5 MWp.

GreenYellow has made this acquisition as a first large-scale investment in ASEAN. This acquisition comes on top of an existing large private C&I portfolio that includes private off-takers. This acquisition demonstrates GreenYellowโ€™s financial capability to support future opportunities for renewable energy in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

GreenYellow Vietnam currently has a total portfolio of 150MWp solar power generation capacity.

GreenYellow’s acquisition will allow it to manage both large-scale utility products and private self-consumption, particularly under the direct power purchase arrangement (DPPA).
