The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company (WBSEDCL), has opened the call for bids to operate and maintain (O&M) a 10 MW solar project for the period of 3 years located at Santaldih, in the Purulia region of West Bengal.
Last date for online bid submission is February 24, 2023. The bids will be opened on February 28.
Scope of work includes detailed field survey, investigation and identification of balance work, preparation of BOQ for replacement work, revamping work and re-commissioning of Turnkey basis for restoration of full generation capacity of the plant along with O&M of 10 MW ground mounted solar PV plant.
Estimated cost of the work for 3 years is Rs. 1,16,85,730/- and EMD amount is Rs. 78,000/-
Duration of O&M work is 3 years and may be extended for another 2 years subject to satisfactory performance of previous 3 yers.
Validity of offer is 180 days from the date of opening of the price bid.
Last year in November, WBSEDCL had invited tender to build two grid-connected and ground-mounted solar power plants at Gangapur-I and Gangapur-II, each with a capacity of 10 MW. The scope of the work was to establishing the solar plant of the awarded capacity includes design and engineering, installation, supply, manufacture/procurement, testing, and commissioning, as well as the warranty obligation along with five years of thorough operation and maintenance (O&M).
In August 2022, WBSEDCL intended to develop Grid Connected Floating Solar PV Power Plant of 10 MW (AC) capacity at Upper Dam of Purulia Pump Storage Project Site, Ajodhya Hills, Barria Mouza, Baghmundi in Purulia District of West Bengal.
