Himachal Pradesh Invites Bids to Set Up 100 MW of Solar Projects
Government of Himachal Pradesh through HIMURJA invites applications for setting up of ground mounted solar power projects of 100 MW capacity from 250 KW to 5 MW in the state to be set up by the applicants on private and / or private leased land. The applicants will have to take the work from concept to commissioning including feasibility survey and investigation. 30 MW capacity solar power project ranging from 250 KW to 1 MW has been reserved for Bona fide Himachalis individuals/ Partnership firm/ Private Ltd companies having 100% shares holding of Bona fide Himachali. Bid submission end date is March 15, 2023. The applicants will have to deposit an application fee of Rs. 10,000 for projects up to 1 MW and for projects above 1 MW to 5 MW the application fee will be Rs. 1,00,000/-
PGVCL Invites Bids for 921 MW Solar Projects under PM-KUSUM Component C
Paschim Gujarat Vij Company (PGVCL) has opened a bidding process for the development of 921 MW of solar projects under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) program. The projects will involve converting 11 kV feeders of selected 66/11 kV substations of PGVCL into solar ones. The winning bidder will be responsible for the project’s maintenance and operation for 25 years, and the project must be completed within nine months from the date of signing the power purchase agreement (PPA) with PGVCL. The successful bidder will also be eligible to receive central financial assistance at 30% of the estimated cost of the project. The deadline for submitting online bids is March 17, 2023, and an earnest money deposit of ₹100,000/MW of the quoted capacity is required.
HPPCL Invites Bids for 32 MW Solar Power Plant in Una, Himachal Pradesh
Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation (HPPCL) has invited bids to commission a 32 MW solar power project in Una, Himachal Pradesh. The Scope of works of the contractor under the contract shall involve end to end delivery of the commissioned plant to HPPCL, which will include (but not limited to) the development of land, design, engineering, procurement of equipment and material, testing at manufacturer’s works, packing and forwarding, transportation, supply, receipt and unloading at site, storage, insurance at all stages, associated civil works, electrical works, services, permits, licenses, installation, erection, testing, commissioning, performance demonstration and operational acceptance of 32 MW (AC) Grid Interactive Solar PV Power Plants on turnkey basis along with comprehensive Operation & Maintenance of 08 (eight) years thereafter. Deadline for Bid Submission is 25.03.2023 and bids will be opened on the same day.

The EoI in two cover system with Earnest Money Deposit (Bid Security) and Price Bid are invited by Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT) from experience and eligible bidders to participate in the Expression of Interest for the selection of Vendors for the Design, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning including 5 year’s Warranty of Grid-Connected Rooftop Solar Plant of various capacities under the Phase-II of Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Scheme of MNRE for a cumulative capacity of 100 MW in the proposed Solar City area of Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, Kerala, India. Scope of work includes Design, Supply, Erection, Testing and Commissioning including 5 year’s Warranty of Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Plant of various capacities under the Phase-II of Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Scheme of MNRE for a cumulative capacity of 100 MW in the proposed Solar City area of Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, Kerala, India. Bid submission end date is 14 March, 2023 and Bid opening (Techno-Commercial) will be on 15 March, 2023 at 11.00 AM.
IREDA to Establish Office in Gujarat to Finance Renewable Energy Projects in Foreign Currency
IREDA is planning to establish an office in Gujarat’s GIFT City to finance Renewable Energy projects in foreign currency. The office at GIFT City, Gandhinagar, will be classified as an overseas office, allowing the IREDA to avoid foreign exchange hedging cost. Shri Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) informed this while speaking in a panel discussion on “Scaling up Clean Energy Investment in Emerging Economies” under the aegis of G20 events at the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. CMD, IREDA also highlighted that all the major multilateral and bilateral agencies such as World Bank, KfW, JICA and ADB, etc. preferred to channel their funds through IREDA for RE projects, demonstrating that IREDA is the top choice for RE funding. He requested these agencies to review their appraisal process in order to speed up financial support by reducing processing time and other bottlenecks.
