NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd, which is a subsidiary of India’s state-run power company NTPC, has announced a tender for a 300 MW solar PV project at Khavda RE Power Park in Gujarat. The project is open to bidders who will be responsible for the design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, installation, and commissioning of the solar plant, including the supply of PV modules. The chosen contractor will also be responsible for the comprehensive operation and maintenance of the solar plant, as well as electrical equipment, consumables, and spare parts for three years from the date of commissioning the full project capacity.
The project’s scope includes grading and clearing of vegetation, topographical surveys, geotechnical investigations, design, and construction of foundations and erection of Module Mounting Structure (MMS) for SPV panels, construction of Pre-Engineered type Inverter room, and associated LT and HT switchgear. The bidder must also arrange power and water supply for construction purposes, construct HT Cable from block boundary to Pooling substation, construct internal roads, pathways, drainage systems, and security cabins. The SCADA system for remote monitoring and control of Inverters and complete set of Weather Monitoring Station, including cloud cover, must also be provided by the bidder.
Interested bidders must have an average annual turnover of at least INR 200 crore for any three financial years out of the preceding five financial years.
The last date and time for receipt of bids, including both Techno-Commercial Bid and Price Bid, is May 26, 2023, at 15:00:00 IST, while the date and time of opening of the Techno-Commercial Bid is May 26, 2023, at 15:30:00 IST. The bidding documents are priced at INR 22,500/-, and all bids must be accompanied by a bid security amounting to INR 20,00,00,000/- (Indian Rupees Twenty Crore only) in the form as stipulated in the Bidding Documents.
