Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (JDVVNL) has invited bids for the installation and commissioning of 32.76 MW of grid-connected solar power projects. These projects will be developed under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model and will solarize agriculture pumps in various subdivisions of Balotara division in the Barmer circle under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM).
The selected bidder will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the project for 25 years. The last date to submit bids online is June 5, 2023, and bids will be opened on June 7. Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of ₹100,000/MW, and a performance bank guarantee of ₹500,000/MW of the quoted capacity must be furnished by the successful bidder.
A power purchase agreement (PPA) for 25 years will be executed between the bidder and the Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam. The projects must be commissioned within nine months from the signing of the PPA, and a minimum average annual turnover of bidders should be at least 30% of the total cost of the quoted capacity during the last three financial years.
