RECPDCL Seeks Solar Project Consultants for Project Management Services

RECPDCL, a subsidiary of REC, has announced a bidding opportunity for consultants to provide project management consultancy services for solar projects in India. The bidding is open for both floating solar and ground-mounted projects across different locations in the country, and the contract duration will be two years.

Interested bidders are required to submit their bids online by May 23, 2023, with the bids being opened on the same day. As part of the bidding process, bidders need to provide an earnest money deposit of ₹250,000 for Category A and ₹500,000 for Category B.

There are two bidding categories available. Category A requires a minimum floating solar capacity of 1 MW and a maximum cumulative solar capacity of 10 MW. In contrast, Category B necessitates a minimum floating solar capacity of 5 MW and a minimum cumulative solar capacity of 50 MW.

To be eligible for Category A, bidders must have executed a single project with a minimum capacity of 8 MW and at least one floating solar project with a capacity of 1 MW in the last four years. Alternatively, bidders should have completed a minimum of two projects, each with a capacity of 5 MW, and at least one floating solar project with a capacity of 1 MW during the same period.

For Category B, bidders must have executed a single project with a minimum capacity of 40 MW and at least one floating solar project with a capacity of 5 MW in the past four years. Alternatively, bidders should have completed a minimum of two projects, each with a capacity of 25 MW, and at least one floating solar project with a capacity of 5 MW during the same period.
