ADNOC Distribution Partners With Emerge For Solar Rooftop Installation At Service Stations Across Dubai

ADNOC Distribution announced a partnership with Emerge – a joint venture of Masdar and EDF – to install solar rooftops on-site at its network of service stations, starting in Dubai in 2023.

ADNOC Distribution will receive a turnkey solution from Emerge. The agreement covers finance, design and procurement, construction, operation, maintenance, and operations of solar panels at new service stations in Dubai as well as retrofitting older ones.

ADNOC Distribution’s commitment to decarbonisation is part of the company’s sustainability plan. It aims to reduce its carbon footprint by 25% between now and 2030.

The company has also committed to exploring additional decarbonisation options with solar power in its other industrial facilities across the Emirates.
