SEG Solar Inc. (SEG), a leading photovoltaic module manufacturer in the United States, announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Jiangsu Meike Solar Technology INC (Meike Solar), a globally leading silicon wafer manufacturer. The MOU intends to establish a comprehensive business partnership between the two companies, focusing on the supply of high-quality silicon ingots and wafers from Meike Solar to SEG’s photovoltaic cell manufacturing base in Southeast Asia.

This partnership with Meike Solar will provide strong support for SEG’s future deployment in the solar industry chain in Southeast Asia while ensuring top-quality products from our US-based module factory.”

Meike Solar is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D and production of solar-grade mono wafers. Based on the mono-pulling process in Baotou Meike in Inner Mongolia, the company has established leading-edge and intelligent diamond wire wafer slicing lines with an annual capacity of 15GW.
