NTPC Tenders for Operation and Maintenance of Solar Plants up to 50 MWp

NTPC (National Thermal Power Corporation) has issued a tender for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of solar plants up to 50 MWp (MegaWatt peak). The closing date for the tender is June 29, 2023, at 23:55.

The scope of work for the O&M contract includes the overall operation, maintenance, and housekeeping of the entire solar PV plant. This encompasses tasks such as daily plant start-up and shut-down, operation of plant equipment according to standard operating procedures, monitoring and maintenance of various components, vegetation management, record-keeping, performance monitoring, and analysis.

To be eligible for the bid, the bidder must have prior experience in either the erection and commissioning of a solar power plant with a capacity of 10 MWp or above, or the operation and maintenance of a solar power plant with a capacity of 10 MWp or above for a minimum period of one year.

Additionally, the bidder should possess a valid electrical license. In terms of financial criteria, the bidder’s net worth should be at least 100% of their paid-up share capital, or if they do not meet this requirement individually, they can rely on the combined net worth of their subsidiary(ies) and/or holding company.
