The Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has recently issued a tender inviting bids for the selection of a solar power developer to set up a 5 MW grid-connected solar PV power project in Mau District, Uttar Pradesh. The project aims to expand the state’s renewable energy capacity and contribute to its clean energy goals.
As per the tender document, interested bidders are required to pay a non-refundable document fee of INR 29,500 (including GST) through NEFT/RTGS transfer or in the form of a Demand Draft (DD) or Pay Order. Additionally, a non-refundable document processing fee of INR 2 lakh (plus GST) must be submitted with each bid.
Furthermore, bidders are expected to provide an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of INR 40 lakh (INR 8 lakh per MW) in the form of a Bank Guarantee along with their response to the Request for Selection (RfS).
The deadline for bid submission is July 26, 2023, with the bid opening scheduled for the following day.
