GAIL (India) Limited, the largest state-owned natural gas processing and distribution company, is inviting bids for the establishment of a 10 MW (AC) Grid Connected Ground Mounted Solar Photovoltaic Power Plant in Vijaipur, Dist. Guna, Madhya Pradesh. The tender is for a turnkey project, including design, engineering, manufacture, supply, storage, civil work, erection, testing, and commissioning of the solar power plant. The successful bidder will also be responsible for the comprehensive operation and maintenance of the plant for a period of 5 years.
The last date to submit the bids is July 12, 2023. Bids will be opened the next day.
It is important to note that the project requires adherence to the Domestic Content Requirement (DCR), where the solar PV modules used in the plant must be manufactured in India. The bidder needs to set up the complete 10 MW (AC) capacity of the power plant at the specified location.
