Gentari and Sembcorp Industries Forge Partnership to Accelerate Clean Energy Solutions in Southeast Asia


Gentari Sdn Bhd (Gentari), a provider of clean energy solutions, and Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp), a prominent player in the renewables industry, have entered into a collaborative agreement. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signifies their shared intent to explore potential collaborations and business activities in the realm of clean energy solutions.


 The agreement was formalized through the signatures of Mr. Low Kian Min, Chief Renewables Officer of Gentari, and Mr. Koh Chiap Khiong, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Singapore & Southeast Asia at Sembcorp.

Mr. Low Kian Min, Chief Renewables Officer of Gentari, expressed that the strategic partnership with Sembcorp is intended to propel the growth of renewable energy and hydrogen-related initiatives. He emphasized that the MoU symbolizes the shared vision and dedication of both organizations in driving the energy transition in Southeast Asia. Their collaborative efforts aim to foster a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future for the region.


Mr. Koh Chiap Khiong, CEO of Sembcorp Industries for Singapore and Southeast Asia, highlighted that the collaboration highlights the significant potential of Malaysia’s rapidly expanding renewables sector.
