Solarvest and Selangor Industrial Corporation Collaborate to Boost Residential Solar Solutions in Malaysia

Solarvest Holdings Berhad, a leading clean energy expert, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Selangor Industrial Corporation Sdn Bhd (SIC), a subsidiary of Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS), to boost the development of residential rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in Malaysia. This strategic collaboration aims to promote sustainable living and contribute to the nation’s clean energy goals.

The MoU includes a commitment from SIC to promote residential solar solutions to PKNS employees, including SIC employees, through a salary deduction scheme. This innovative financing option allows individuals to allocate a portion of their monthly salary toward the installation of solar PV systems, making the transition to renewable energy more affordable and accessible.

Furthermore, the collaboration will foster close cooperation and information sharing to identify opportunities for integrating solar PV systems into new housing development projects for the general public. Solarvest will serve as SIC’s technology partner, providing advanced expertise and innovative solar PV solutions to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and overall effectiveness of residential solar solutions.
