The certificate pertains to the commencement of operations of MSEL’s state-of-the-art Solar PV Cells and Solar PV Modules manufacturing plant situated in Mundra, Gujarat. This manufacturing facility boasts an impressive capacity of 2.0 GW per annum.
Adani Green Energy Limited, a major player in the renewable energy sector, holds a substantial 26% stake in MSEL through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Adani Renewable Energy Holding Four Limited (AREH4L). The establishment of this cutting-edge manufacturing plant is aligned with AREH4L’s commitment to its manufacturing-linked tender, which forms a part of its ambitious plan to develop an impressive 8 GW solar power generation portfolio.
The COD certificate, a pivotal validation of the plant’s operational readiness, was officially granted by SECI on August 17, 2023, at approximately 12:40 PM.
