India’s KEC International, a prominent player in power construction, has secured a substantial $138 million contract for the development, supply, and installation of a 380 kV overhead transmission line within Saudi Arabia’s ambitious NEOM mega-project.
Vimal Kejriwal, the Managing Director and CEO of KEC International unveiled this significant deal, underscoring the company’s robust presence in the global power transmission and distribution sector. Moreover, the year-to-date order intake has surged past INR 75 billion, reflecting a remarkable 30% growth compared to the previous year.
KEC International, a flagship entity of India’s RPG Group, has played a pivotal role in powering various global mega-projects, contributing significantly to the transformation of the region’s energy infrastructure.
This strategic project holds immense significance for both NEOM and Saudi Arabia, as it is instrumental in shaping the essential power infrastructure for NEOM’s development, a visionary city within Saudi Arabia.
