HUAWEI CONNECT 2023 is held at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center from September 20 to 22. At the event, Huawei Digital Power showcases its green and low-carbon all-scenario solutions and success stories in the three exhibition areas: New Digital Industry Energy Infrastructure, Green Power Generation, and Charging Network. The New Digital Industry Energy Infrastructure session invited more than 200 leading figures, experts, and partners in the data center industry to share technological innovations and successful practices in the field.

New Digital Industry Energy Infrastructure Exhibition Area

Themed green, simplified, smart, and reliable (GSSR), this exhibition area showcases three scenario-based solutions for large data centers, small- and medium-sized data centers, and critical power supply. These solutions are expected to lead the industry to a new era of low-carbon and intelligence. Among the displayed solutions, the FusionPower6000 3.0 is tailored for large data centers. It integrates all components and optimizes key nodes to build a power-efficient, time-saving, and worry-free power supply and distribution solution for large data centers, raising the integration level of such a solution to a new high. The FusionModule 6.0 Smart Modular Data Center is for small- and medium-sized data centers. The solution features a full-modular design and is designed to build a whole data center in just one module, realizing one-stop delivery for the target scenarios. The UPS series is applicable to critical power supply scenarios. It is an intelligent power supply solution with high reliability, efficiency, and energy density.

Green Power Generation Exhibition Area

Targeting utility-scale PV plant scenarios, FusionSolar provides the smart PV+ESS on/off-grid solution, which brings lower levelized cost of electricity (LCOE), grid forming, safety & reliability, and digital features for customers. To address the challenges that occur when connecting a high proportion of renewable energy to the grid, FusionSolar has combined PV inverters and energy storage systems (ESSs). Based on the smart string architecture and grid-forming algorithm, it launched the Grid-forming Technology to redefine voltage, frequency, and power angle stability, accelerating the evolution of PV as a main energy source.

Charging Network Exhibition Area

Converged with PV systems and ESS, the Huawei Fully Liquid-Cooled Ultra-Fast Charge solution helps build new energy infrastructure to advance electromobility. The liquid-cooled power unit delivers 720 kW of high power. Enabled by the power pooling and power-sharing matrix, the cabinet supports both ultra-fast charging and fast charging. The maximum output power of a single connector is up to 600 kW (Chinese version), achieving an amazing charging speed of “one kilometer in one second” and fully charging a car on a cup of coffee break. With advanced, fully liquid-cooled technology, the product is quiet while working. A high IP rating brings high reliability and guarantees a longer service life.

Additionally, the product supports a wide output voltage range of 200 V to 1000 V, making it compatible with all existing and future vehicle models. More importantly, this technology-intensive solution is future-proof for various evolutionary trends. With this solution, Huawei Digital Power hopes to play an active part in building a next-generation smart charging network and accelerate the electrification of the automobile industry.
