REMC Limited, formerly known as Railway Energy Management Company Limited, a joint venture between Indian Railways and RITES Limited, has issued a Notice Inviting Tender (NIT) for the selection of project developers to supply 750 MW of round-the-clock (RTC) power from grid-connected renewable energy (RE) power projects, with or without storage.
Key details from the NIT:
Bid Submission Deadline: Bids must be submitted online by 2:00 PM on October 30, 2023, or offline by 2:00 PM on November 2, 2023.
Bid Opening: Bids will be opened at 2:30 PM on November 2, 2023.
Bid Document Fees: Prior to submission, bidders are required to pay a non-refundable Bid Document Fee of Rs 29,500 and a Bid Processing Fee of Rs 10 lakh plus 18% GST. These fees can be deposited through NEFT/RTGS transfer or in the form of a DD/Pay Order in favor of “REMC Ltd.”
Application Submission: Bidders are instructed to submit their Request for Selection (RFS) application through the e-Tender Portal before the bid due date. Original documents, as per the NIT guidelines, should be submitted in hard copy to the office of REMC Ltd. in New Delhi.
