For the purpose of designing, engineering, supplying, building, erecting, testing, and commissioning a 100 MW solar power project at Galiveedu village in the Annamayya district of Andhra Pradesh, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) has invited bids.
The project’s five years of operations and maintenance (O&M) are also included in the scope of work.
Bids must be submitted by December 15, 2023, at the latest.
Within 15 days of receiving the tender acceptance notification, the chosen bidder is required to provide a security deposit equal to 1% of the total contract value.
A three-month-valid Composite Performance Bank Guarantee is also necessary. The security deposit is included in the Performance Bank Guarantee, which is as follows:
โข Apart from contractor’s variance request (CVR) items, for every item: 10% of the total amount on the purchase order
โข For CVR items: 5% of the order value, or โน10 lakhs, whichever is less.
Only vendors who are designated as Class-I and Class-II Local entities will be allowed to submit a bid.
Before submitting their bids, bidders are encouraged to visit the HPCL site located in Galiveedu.
In order to determine the amount and type of work required, identify the materials required for project completion and their availability, and assess the site’s accessibility, bidders are required to conduct a comprehensive site inspection.
At the current 33/220kV Andhra Pradesh Solar Power Corporation (APSPCL) substation, the engineering, procurement, and construction contractor will be in charge of terminating the 33 kV cable/overhead transmission line.
The proposed site and the APSPCL substation are roughly 5 kilometers apart, and the substation is situated inside the boundaries of the Ananthapuramu Ultra Mega Solar Park. To ascertain the precise length of the route, the contractor must, however, carry out a thorough route survey.
Following the 12-month defect liability period, the comprehensive O&M contract starts, and HPCL does not pay extra for the vendor’s O&M during this time.
