Sterlite Power Bolsters Order Book with INR 2,000 Crores in New Q2 FY ’24 Contracts

Sterlite Power, a prominent player in power transmission and global products/services, reports a substantial Q2 FYโ€™24 surge, securing ~INR 2,000 crores in ordersโ€”a remarkable INR 700 crores increase from Q1. This robust performance mirrors the global momentum in transmission infrastructure, driven by the energy transition.

In H1 FY’24, Sterlite Power accumulates INR 3,300 crores in orders for high-performance green products and EPC services, both domestically and internationally. Notably, Sterlite Power contributes significantly to India’s green grid transformation with major orders, including Power Grid Corporation’s prestigious projects, and expands its footprint in the Americas, Africa, and the Middle East.

The Power Cables segment secures key victories for vital infrastructure projects, including metros, data centers, hospitals, and power initiatives. Sterlite Power will deliver 33kV cables for Ahmedabad Metro Phase 2 and Surat Metro Phase 1, enhancing commuting efficiency. Additionally, it will supply 132kV cables for Sawai Mansingh Hospital Expansion in Jaipur and 33kV cables for energy-intensive data centers in Bengaluru, ensuring reliable power.
