SolarPower Europe’s latest report provides guidance on sustainably managing end-of-life (EoL) solar panels, ensuring compliance with regulations and contributing to the EU’s circularity goals. The recommendations cover decommissioning, replacement, and potential “second life” assessment, offering insights into key European legislation on waste management and electrical equipment. Developed by over 30 experts from various solar backgrounds, the report emphasizes the industry’s commitment to responsible lifecycle management.
