NTPC Issues Tender for Development Of 500 MW Grid Connected Solar Project at Rajasthan

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) is seeking online bids from eligible bidders on a Single Stage Two Envelope basis (Envelope-I: Techno-Commercial Bid and Envelope-II: Price Bid) for the EPC PACKAGE in the development of 500MW (2X250MW) grid-connected solar PV projects in Bikaner, Rajasthan.

The scope of work includes Design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation, unloading storage, installation testing and commissioning of Solar Photovoltaic plant.

The last date for the submission of bids is February28, 2024. Bids will be opened the same day.

NTPC REL plans to use its own funds and/or borrowings to finance the project.

Bidders must submit โ‚น22,500 as the cost of the bidding document.

For total quoted capacity of 1 Block (250MW), the Bid Security should be Rs 10 Crore (Indian Rupees Ten Crore Only). In the case of 2 Blocks (2x250MW), the required Bid Security is Rs 20 Crore (Indian Rupees Twenty Crore Only).

The Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) based grid-connected power plant(s) should have been designed, supplied, erected/supervised erected, and commissioned/supervised commissioning by the winning bidder. The total installed capacity of the plants should have been 40 MWp or more, with at least one plant having a capacity of 10 MWp or more.

Before the date of the techno-commercial bid opening, the reference plant with a capacity of at least 10 MWp has to be operating profitably for at least six months.

As of the bid opening date, bidders must fulfill a minimum average annual turnover for any three of the five previous fiscal years.

โ€ขFor a bid capacity of one block (250 MW), the minimum average annual turnover should be โ‚น240 crores.
โ€ขIf bidding for two blocks (2X250 MW), the bidderโ€™s average annual turnover must not be less than โ‚น400 crores.
