Radiance Solar and Pivot Energy have joined hands to unveil a collection of five community solar initiatives in Illinois. These projects, totaling 19 megawatts in capacity, are set to be finalized by 2024. This noteworthy partnership highlights the shared dedication of both entities to promoting sustainable energy solutions, while also underscoring their focus on community involvement and environmental responsibility.
The 19 MW portfolio is projected to generate ample power, equivalent to offsetting the energy needs of 3,800 homes annually, thereby significantly advancing Illinois’ renewable energy objectives. This initiative is poised to stimulate job growth, bolster the local economy, and offer communities accessible access to clean energy resources.
Radiance Solar, headquartered in Atlanta and serving as the EPC partner, brings extensive expertise to the table as it has completed over 10 community solar projects in Illinois. Meanwhile, Pivot Energy, based in Denver and the owner of the facilities, stands out as a premier developer of community solar projects in Illinois and across the nation.
