In recent developments, Larsen & Toubro’s Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) division has clinched substantial contracts both domestically and internationally. Among the notable wins is the mandate to establish a 75MW Floating Solar PV plant on the Panchet Dam. This initiative is a significant component of the Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Power Park, strategically located across Damodar Valley Corporation reservoirs spanning Jharkhand and West Bengal.

Furthermore, the company has secured a pivotal contract in Saudi Arabia for the comprehensive construction of a 380kV Substation, marking another milestone in its global portfolio. Additionally, L&T’s PT&D business has emerged victorious in securing orders for substation installations and voltage conversions from prominent hydrocarbon entities in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. In the United Arab Emirates, L&T continues to fortify its presence with an additional order pertaining to the ongoing 220kV Power Supply Project.
