WBSEDCL Tenders for Supplying 40 MW Ground-Mounted Solar Plants Across Various Districts of West Bengal

The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company (WBSEDCL) has issued a tender for the comprehensive operation and maintenance of 40 MW ground-mounted solar projects over a span of three years.

Interested parties must submit their bids by February 27, 2024.

These projects, each with a capacity of 10 MW, are situated at Tail Race Canal in Haptiagachh (Uttar Dinajpur), along the Teesta Canal Bank in Uttar Dinajpur, in Salboni (Paschim Medinipur), and at Khemasuli (Patni) in Medinipur.

The project’s anticipated cost is ₹ 5.4crores.

Bidders must pay ₹ 360,000 as an earnest money deposit.

The offer is valid for a minimum of 180 days from the next day of tender opening.

Upon selection, the successful bidder must provide a performance bank guarantee equivalent to 10% of the total order value.

To qualify, bidders must have either installed and commissioned at least one 10 MW or larger grid-connected solar project within the last five years or possess experience in the comprehensive operation and maintenance of a grid-connected 10 MW or larger solar project for a minimum of one year within the same period.

Financial eligibility criteria include a positive net worth and a demonstrated minimum average annual turnover equivalent to 30% of the estimated tender cost over the last three consecutive financial years.

Bidders must have an aggregate executed order value of ₹2 crores, with a single executed order value of ₹45 lakhs in the solar or non-solar industries.
